Like many others at Latitude, Laura Marling, Florence and the Machine and Charlotte Gainsbourg were riding high on Asos 'must-see' list, but another female singer-songwriter whose performance the interviewers were excited to catch was newcomer, Lauren Pritchard.

Having departed the Broadway stage to pursue music, Tennessee born Pritchard has combined her rich, soulful vocals with sultry piano playing for her much-anticipated debut, Wasted in Jackson.

Due out in September, the album features songs co-written with the likes of Mumford and Sons and Ed Harcourt
